Any thoughts? I plan on trying the following troubleshooting plan:Ĥ. I'm not sure if the Bios upgrade is causing a problem or if instituting AHCI and getting a BSOD seriously screwed up my HDD. The HDD light seems to stay on forever, but not much read/write activity. Games, apps, uncompressing files takes 10x as long to load now. The only problem now is that my HDD seems to be very sluggish. Rebooted, selected optimized defaults and booted into XP. I turned on AHCI, got the blue screen (I didn't have the drivers installed(I'm using XP)). I recently updated my DS3 v3.3 bios from F10 to F12, in doing so I followed a guide to tweak the bios found on the forums here. I'm having some issues with an updated bios and the DS3 that I think are SATA related.
